I receive so many queries from friends and clients about home loan payments, that I decided to make this simple Excel spreadsheet available.

The spreadsheet simply allows you to enter the loan amount, interest rate and number of years of the loan and then calculates the monthly payment for the loan. If also gives you a couple of examples on how you can pay the loan off in a shorter period by paying more than is required every month.There is a seperate sheet with a monthly breakdown that allows you to play around with paying extra amounts at any point, but that you'll have to figure out on your own or contact me through PSP Software, as I have not written any help on that sheet.

For your own security and peace of mind, the spreadsheet does not contain any macros, it is merely a couple of simple but useful calculations.
